Professional Information

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD in 1994.  After student teaching at Northwestern High School in Mellette, I found this wonderful school system a great place to start my teaching career.  I began my teaching adventure as a teaching assistant in a K-12 Resource Room. 

In 1996, my husband and I were given the opportunity to move to the community of Dell Rapids, SD.  Before starting my kindergarten teaching in 1998, I worked as a teaching assistant at Children's Home Society in Sioux Falls, SD.

I am thoroughly enjoying my tenth year teaching kindergarten at Dell Rapids Elementary School!

Personal Information

I grew up on a farm just 10 miles from the recreational Missouri River and 4 miles from the terrific community of Platte, SD. 

My husband and I are blessed and busy with two daughters and a son.
